What is a connected account?
Any customer of yours which uses Knit to integrate any of their application(s) with yours is counted as a connected account. Even if the customer integrates multiple applications using KNIT, they will still be counted as one. For example if a customer integrates both BambooHR & Slack using KNIT, they will be counted as one account for the purpose of KNIT pricing.
What is the per connected account pricing?
Your per-account price depends on your integration needs. It is set before you sign up for the plan. It never exceeds 5% of what your customers pay you.
What is an API call?
An API call is any HTTP call that your backend makes to Knit for let's say starting syncs or posting messages on slack or teams
What is an event?
Knit constantly tracks changes and interactions of interest to you that happen on origin systems like Slack/MS Teams/ Any HRIS/Any ATS on your behalf. Whenever such an interaction/change occurs, Knit notifies your registered webhook by making a POST HTTP call with relevant data regarding the interaction/change, we refer to this as events. With Knit's elegant event notification system, you can build truly event driven applications for your use cases.
